Osaka “Crazy Town”
It’s not really called that. But that’s what we call it. It’s the market area around the tower in Osaka. We decided to go there looking for food. The girls had conflicting opinions of what to eat so it took a while.
Then a walk to crazy town.
About half the shops have decorations as absured as this thing.

After much negotiation we settled in a dive joint that specialized in friend things on a stick, alcoholic drinks and cigarette smoke. That’s what you get girls for not settling earlier!
Just before we got back to or hostel we grabbed some breakfast provisions. We did not pick up any smoked squid on a stick.
Girls were up late. We woke up at 8 to pack and catch our 10:49 train to Kyoto (where this is being written now). The plan for tonght is food and not much else. Tomorrow we get a guided tour of Kyoto!
First we had the famous (?) Osaka takoyaki (marinated octopus in a bread ball). It tasted like a Tim bit with a piece of chewy bbq chicken.
